Position:
Marketing Manager (Hybrid)
We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Marketing Manager who’s ready to own strategy and execution across the full funnel. You’ll lead our marketing efforts with a focus on growth, positioning, and customer storytelling, working directly with the founders of Europe’s fastest-growing certificate tech startups.
Job description:
- Develop and execute our marketing strategy (content, paid, lifecycle, SEO, and product marketing)
- Own Virtualbadge.io’s positioning across channels (website, blog, email, LinkedIn, events)
- Plan and manage campaigns across the funnel to generate demand and educate our audience
- Lead content creation (briefing, writing, editing) for blog, case studies, landing pages, and ads
- Coordinate with freelance creators, performance marketers, and internal teams
- Analyse performance and continuously improve based on data
- Align closely with Sales and Product for messaging, conversion, and feature launches
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally in SaaS or EdTech
- A strong grasp of messaging, positioning, and storytelling
- Proven results in lead generation and conversion campaigns
- Experience across SEO, paid campaigns, lifecycle/email, and content marketing
- Excellent writing and communication skills (English; German is a strong plus)
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
- Bonus: experience managing freelancers or agency partners
