Pro Tip: All the texts you see are placeholders and can be changed according to your needs. Simply choose your favorite template and start creating your own certificate right away!
This is where the magic happens: You can now edit the texts and change the logo within your chosen template as you like.
Simply click on the existing texts in the certificate preview within the design tool to select them.
Once a text is selected, you can adjust its content directly using the text box in the upper right corner of the screen.
As previously mentioned, all texts are placeholders, but you can use them as a guide when positioning your own text fields.
Adding new texts is also possible. Simply select the text icon under the "Add Elements" section and place the newly created text field wherever you prefer.
All new text fields that you add to your digital certificate template will appear directly in the upper left corner of your preview.
Simply select the new text field you have added and edit its content using the various settings in the right column.
There, you can customize the font, font size, color, alignment, and much more!
Important: All text fields are a static part of your background! The only text field that changes for each certificate is: "Full Name of the Participant."
The recipient's name is a mandatory part of all certificates you create and is already included in your template.
Don't worry: The field "Full Name of the Recipient" (or just recipient name) is only a placeholder. This means that this text will be replaced by the actual name of the respective recipient of your certificate.
As usual, you can format the appearance of this field using the options in the right column.
Your own logo is a very important part of your certificate and gives it a personal touch! For this reason, each of our certificate templates already includes a placeholder for your company logo.
You can simply click on the logo button in the certificate preview or select it directly from the element list in the left column.
Then click on the "Upload" icon (see image below) and make it your very own personalized certificate once and for all.
Once you’ve finished customizing the background of your certificate, simply scroll down and click on the "Next" button.
Now you can upload a CSV file containing the names of all your participants!
You can download a sample CSV file to fill in yourself or simply upload your existing file.
Important: Make sure that each recipient’s name is in a separate row.To upload a file in CSV format, you can start with a regular Excel file and simply export it as a CSV file. Here’s an example of how your Excel file should look:
In Excel, simply select "File," then "Save As," and choose the option "CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited)."
Once this is done, you can upload the exported CSV file into our certificate generator and proceed to the next step.
You have reached the final step and can now download the created and automatically filled-in certificates to delight all your participants.
As promised, you can download all certificates for your participants in the form of a .zip file and extract it on your computer.
You will then find each individual, personalized certificate and can distribute them to your participants as desired, preferably via email.
